Durham Bulls Visit Pediatric Cancer Patients as Part of Vs Cancer Efforts

Durham Bulls Vs Cancer

Three Durham Bulls players (l to r, Hoby Milner, Peter Fairbanks & Aaron Slegers), and Wool E. Bull, visited the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant unit at Duke Hospital on Thursday, August 8, 2019, as part of the Bulls Vs. Cancer Initiative.

Durham Bulls players and Wool E. Bull recently paid a special visit to some special kids as part of the ball club’s Bulls Vs. Cancer initiative.  On Thursday, August 8, 2019, Pitchers Aaron Slegers, Peter Fairbanks and Hoby Milner went to the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant unit at Duke Hospital (Duke PBMT) to brighten the day of several patients.

The visit is part of the Bulls Vs. Cancer fundraising efforts.  The game on Sunday, September 1, will be a Bulls Vs. Cancer Night at the DBAP, benefitting both the Vs. Cancer Foundation as well as the Duke PBMT.  Donations from the event will benefit the important family support and child life programs provided by Duke PBMT.
