Bulls to also settle East vs. West BBQ debate with Carolina BBQ Battle on Wednesday, August 4

Bull SharksThe Bulls return to Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Tuesday, August 3 to start a six-game homestand versus the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. The series features the Carolina BBQ Battle (August 4), Bull Sharks Nights (August 5-6), Friday Night Fireworks (August 6), Dinos at the DBAP with Saturday Night Fireworks (August 7), and Pirates and Princesses Night with Kids Run The Bases (August 8).

Tuesday, August 3 vs Memphis (6:35pm)

  • Tuesday Night Baseball: Enjoy a beautiful night for baseball at the DBAP as the Bulls return home to begin their six-game series versus the Memphis Redbirds.

Wednesday, August 4 vs Memphis (6:35pm) presented by United Way of the Greater Triangle

  • Carolina Barbeque Battle: The Bulls look to settle the East vs. West BBQ debate once and for all, with fans able to choose east or west BBQ sauce and then pick their favorite. The results will be revealed at the end of the night to ultimately prove which sauce is best.

Thursday, August 5 vs Memphis (6:35pm)

  • Bull Sharks Night: Fin-spired by Shark Week, players and coaches will be wearing jaw-some Durham Bull Sharks jerseys and caps for the first of two Bull Sharks Nights at the DBAP. Baby Shark is also expected to be in attendance.
  • Beats, Brews & Baseball: Jason Adamo will be performing outside the Blue Cross NC front gates from 5:30 p.m. until just before first pitch. Fans can also purchase a beer flight from the 42 Bar at Jackie’s Landing.

Friday, August 6 vs Memphis (6:35pm) presented by Couch Oil

  • Friday Night Fireworks presented by Biomerieux: The skies will ignite with a post-game fireworks show at the DBAP courtesy of Biomerieux.
  • Bull Sharks Night: Fin-spired by Shark Week, players and coaches will once again be wearing jaw-some Durham Bull Sharks jerseys and caps. Baby Shark is also expected to be in attendance.
  • Food Trucks Weekend: Local food trucks will be in attendance on the Diamond View Concourse in right field throughout the game.

Saturday, August 7 vs Memphis (6:35pm) presented by Michael and Son

  • Dinos at the DBAP: The Bulls celebrate North Carolina’s history of dinosaurs, with a nod as well to the 2020 KBO champion NC Dinos baseball club. Fans will also be able to check out a special dinosaur exhibit from Dakota and Friends, while dinosaur characters will also participate in various promotions throughout the evening.
  • Food Trucks Weekend: Local food trucks will be in attendance on the Diamond View Concourse in right field throughout the game.
  • Saturday Night Fireworks presented by Window World: Post-game fireworks shows return following Saturday evening contests at Durham Bulls Athletic Park courtesy of Window World.

Sunday, August 8 vs Memphis (5:05pm) presented by NC Clean Energy

  • Pirates & Princesses Night: The Bulls celebrate the worlds of pirates and princesses at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, with several princess and pirate characters in attendance that evening participating in various promotions.
  • Food Trucks Weekend: Local food trucks will be in attendance on the Diamond View Concourse in right field throughout the game.
  • Kids Run The Bases presented by Nature’s Twist: Kids will be able to run the bases after the game with Kids Run The Bases presented by Nature’s Twist.
