Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 1, 2018, as Rocky Mount Mills joins the CBC family in the tradition of a tower lighting. The inaugural Rocky Mount Mills Tower Lighting celebration will be free and open to the public.
“We are excited to be a part of Capitol Broadcasting Company’s tradition this year as tower lighting tradition glows in both Raleigh at WRAL Studios and at Durham’s American Tobacco Campus,” said RMM Event Services and Marketing Manager Julie Baggett. “It will be a night full of carols, horse carriage rides, the man himself, Santa and more holiday fun following the lighting of the water tower.”

The 14th Annual American Tobacco Lucky Strike Water Tower Lighting will take place on Friday, November 30. The WRAL-TV Tower Lighting Celebration will take place on Monday, December 3, during the evening newscasts, lighting during the 6pm news. CBC first lit the WRAL Tower in 1959.
