The combination of NBC and WRAL-TV continues to prove fruitful. The first day delivered great ratings (NBC joined the WRAL-TV family on Monday, February 29th) and now the numbers are showing Sunday night is a winner as well. According to TV Week, for the first time in almost 12 years, NBC won an “in-season Sunday night in total viewers among the broadcast networks with a prime-time slate of entertainment programming.”
A big part of the big ratings on Sunday, March 13, 2016, was the 8pm variety show “Little Big Shots” with host Steve Harvey. “Little Big Shots” handily won the prime time week on WRAL-TV with an 11.0 HH Rating.
“In only our 2nd week as an NBC affiliate to have prime time’s #1 program is a testament to the overall strength of WRAL in Raleigh-Durham,” said WRAL-TV Research Director/Media Buyer Jeff Suss.
CBC loves Steve Harvey with his show on FOX 50, and now he’s proving to be a powerhouse on WRAL-TV/NBC as well.
WRAL-TV is also home to five of the top 10 shows last week. .
