For 50 years, the Catholic Academy, which began as the Catholic Broadcasters Association, has been recognizing outstanding artistic achievement in media. Entrants from across the United States go through a highly selective process. According to the Catholic Academy, entrants only receive an award when, “a level of excellence is achieved in values, content, creativity, artistic quality, technical quality or impact.”

The 50th annual Gabriel Awards presentation will be June 25, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo Hotel in New York.
