If you’re looking for a new and unique side for your holiday meal, look no further than the recipe book of WRAL-TV Anchor/Reporter Ken Smith. INDY Week, the free local Triangle publication, invited Smith to contribute to a recent virtual potluck.
“The publisher asked me and others like Mayor McFarlane about family holiday traditions and a favorite holiday recipe,” explained Smith.
The notable local personalities shared a variety of dishes, what INDY Week calls their “favorite recipes of the season.”
The piece by Debbie Matthews reads, “The exercise has also given us ample inspiration for our own holiday get-togethers—if you don’t have a go-to recipe, deciding what to bring to a potluck tops our list of holiday stress-inducing panic. From cheesy starters to a sweet-and-creamy finale, we’ve got holiday entertaining all wrapped up.”
