Corp’s Jim Goodmon accepts the Dr. Robert E. Bridges Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wake Education Partnership at the Stars of Education Gala on October 10., 2018.

The Wake Education Partnership bestowed the organization’s highest honor on Corp CEO & Board Chairman Jim Goodmon at their annual Stars of Education gala on Thursday, October 10, 2018.  Goodmon received the Dr. Robert E. Bridges Lifetime Achievement Award.

Goodmon was unanimously selected to be “recognized for his outstanding contributions in the area of public education.”

WakeEd has presented the Lifetime Achievement Award only four times previously during the non-profit’s 35 year history.  Instead of automatically presenting the honor every year, Wake Ed only gives the award “when an individual has made several significant contributions to public education that have made a lasting impression, worthy of public tribute.”
