Look to the Rainbow, After Tropical Storm Michael

It was a sight that would have inspired Judy Garland into song.  After a long day of storm coverage, WRAL-TV News Photojournalist Richard Adkins captured the perfect positive images after the remnants of Tropical Storm Michael moved through Lumberton on Thursday evening.  His full rainbow photo, featured on the WRAL newscast, quickly went viral among his CBC colleagues.

From the Triangle to the coast, the WRAL-TV viewing area has taken a significant hit from hurricanes over the past few weeks. Thanks to Richard for sharing a bright side of a dark day.

He also tweeted a couple of photos of him and WRAL-TV Breaking News Multimedia Journalist Rosalia Fodera having a little fun with the ribbon of color during their storm coverage:

Thanks to WRAL-TV’s Richard Adkins for these capcom photos.
