WRAL Here To Help Phone Bank Raises Over $700K for Hurricane Victims

Hurricane Here To Help phone bank

WRAL-TV’s Monica Laliberte accepts a $115k check from Lenovo for the American Red Cross’ relief work during WRAL-TV’s Here To Help Hurricane Relief phone bank in Studio A on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

Thanks to WRAL-TV’s generous viewers and corporate partners, the WRAL TV Here to Help Hurricane Relief phone bank raised $713,492 for Hurricane Florence victims. 100% of the money raised supports the work of The Salvation Army of Wake County Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina American Red Cross and NC Disaster Relief Fund as they help NC families in desperate need.

These funds will provide significant relief to our many neighbors impacted by Florence.

Volunteers manned the phone bank in WRAL-TV’s Studio A from 4-7pm on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

A drive to fill GoTriangle busses with supplies to help Hurricane Victims took place the next day.  Stay tuned to Capcom for more details…

CBC would like to thank everyone who contributed and those who volunteered to help our neighbors!
