American Tobacco Tree of Bikes Has Big Year

American Tobacco 2017 Tree of Bikes

American Tobacco’s 2017 Tree of Bikes: Over 175 bikes and 135 helmets were donated this holiday season.

American Tobacco had another amazing year for the Tree of Bikes.  During the 2017 holiday season, ATC collected over 175 bikes and 135 helmets.  The 25-foot tree was also featured in the December issue of Our State Magazine as part of their photo essay, “Season to Serve.”

The bikes will be distributed to Durham families in need via a lottery on Saturday, December 23rd. The distribution will take place at the Bethel Family Worship Center (Old East End Elementary School) at 515 Dowd St in Durham.

Corporate Partners for the 2017 Tree of Bikes included American Tobacco, Mercedes-Benz of Durham, YMCA, GoTriangle, Habitat for Humanity of Durham, and Happy Roots Entertainment.
