Two Fireworks Shows, $1 Concessions, Yoga on the Field Also on Tap

Durham Bulls homestandThe Durham Bulls open a four-game series against the Gwinnett Braves on Thursday, May 18 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The weekend set features Wool E. Bull’s birthday celebration, a tribute to First Responders, $1 Concessions, two fireworks shows and Yoga on the Field.

The homestand opens on Thursday, May 18, when the Bulls take on the Braves at 7:05 p.m. That evening’s contest, presented by Northwestern Mutual, will feature $1 Concessions as Bright Leaf hot dogs, soda and popcorn are just a buck all night long.

The Bulls battle the Atlanta Braves’ Triple-A affiliate at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, May 19, with the game presented by CPI Security. Friday’s contest is Super Hero Night, as the team will honor First Responders during the contest for all the help they provide to the community. Fans can use the promo code “HERO” when buying tickets for that evening’s game, offering either Terrace View or Outfield Reserved seats with $5 of Bulls Bucks loaded onto the ticket.

From 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, the Bulls will host Yoga on the Field in association with that evening’s Health and Fitness Night. Fans can purchase tickets to yoga in the DBAP outfield, and a ticket to that evening’s game for as low as $22.99 plus tax, while the first 200 tickets purchased will also receive a special Durham Bulls water bottle.

Saturday’s 6:35 p.m. contest is presented by QuintilesIMS, and will be followed by a Saturday Night Fireworks show presented by JT’s Landscaping. Also on Saturday, the Bulls will wear their Bull City Blues uniforms for the first time in 2017, and will wear them for all remaining Saturday home games.

The homestand against Gwinnett concludes on Sunday, May 21 at 5:05 p.m., as the Bulls celebrate Wool E. Bull’s birthday, as mascots from around the state will be in attendance to celebrate the birthday of the best mascot in Minor League Baseball. Sunday’s game is a SunSational Sunday presented by Sun Tan City, and following the game Kids Run the Bases presented by Nature’s Twist.
