2017 MLK BreakfastFor the past 31 years, Capitol Broadcasting Company has served as the leading sponsor for the annual Martin Luther King Triangle Interfaith Prayer Breakfast. CBC is pleased to continue its support of this very important holiday observance.

Doors open at 5:45 a.m.; Free Breakfast Served from 6:00-8:00 a.m.; Program begins at 7:15 a.m.

On-site parking is free (and shuttle service is provided by the Sheraton Imperial).
The event is FREE And open to the public.

The majority of the program will air live on WRAL-TV from 8:00-9:00am that morning. The breakfast can be seen live in its entirety on WRAL.com.  This is the sixth year WRAL has produced a live on-air broadcast of the event.  The program will also air on FOX 50 from 12:00-1:00pm the same day.

About the MLK Triangle Inter-Faith Prayer Breakfast
Sponsored by the Triangle MLK, Jr. Committee and Capitol Broadcasting Company, the 2017 Martin Luther King Jr. Triangle Interfaith Prayer Breakfast will feature the Rev. James White, YMCA of the Triangle’s Executive Vice President of Organizational Relations, and founder and pastor of Christ Our King Community Church in Raleigh, as keynote speaker.

For more than three decades this event has honored the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream. More than 1,000 people will gather for breakfast and to hear words of compassion, hope, and action inspired by Dr. King.
