Microspace Undertakes Satellite Dish Painting at CBC Auburn Site

Microspace recently began maintenance of their satellite uplink location in Auburn. This project included pressure washing & painting the satellite antennas and the buildings on the premises. Beginning in August and concluding in November, this project required a crew of 5 people, using ladders, scaffolding and all manner of safety equipment to pressure wash, then paint the satellite antennas, and pressure wash the microwave huts and main equipment building. The end result will be a fresh appearance for this important uplink location as shown in the photos below.

Video Services satellite

This is the Video Services 10 Meter C-band dish which is used for C-Band Uplinks.

10M Satellite

This is the 10 Meter C-band Dish and is a backup antenna for the Christian Radio Consortium on SES2

Galaxy 3C Satellite

This is the 5.5 Meter and Antenna used for the disaster recovery site for Galaxy 3C.
