Are you smarter than a high school student?  Probably not, if we’re talking about Raleigh Charter High School.  WRAL-TV recently crowned the Raleigh Charter Team as the 2016 Brain Game Champions.

On Tuesday, May 17, 2016, Brain Game Host Mark Roberts visited Raleigh Charter to present Ben Rutherford, Prakruth Adari, Alicia Chen, and Kim Sharp their Brain Game Championship plaques.

Raleigh Charter won the championship on May 7th after outlasting 35 other teams over the course of 24 contests during this school year. Brain Game airs on Saturday mornings during the school year at 11am on WRAL-TV.

The locally produced WRAL-TV competition show debuted a new set in January of this year, the first redesign in 19 years.  WRAL-TV Producer Kevin Shand produces the show, along with support from team of WRAL staffers.  He’s been at the helm of Brain Game since WRAL created and launched the program in January of 1997.

Again, congratulations to Raleigh Charter High School, the 2016 Brain Game Champions!

Thanks to WRAL-TV’s Kevin Shand for these capcom photos.
